Livestock Manager Haley will teach all about how we take care of our chickens, and provide helpful information and answers for both current and hopeful backyard chicken farmers. We'll cover housing, feeding, breeds, common medical issues, and more! Part of this course will be designated for student questions, so bring your curiousity!
Dress in layers; we expect to spend part of this class outdoors.
Registration: $45 per member / $50 per non-member. Class limit 20 participants. Members use code MEMBER10 at checkout.
Age: All participants over 16 yrs will require their own ticket, anyone attending under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note this course is not designed for children.

This is a course in our 2024 Suburban Farmer series, aimed at farmers at heart who are looking to produce more of their own food and get more out of the land they live on.
We will notify participants a few days beforehand if we need to cancel due to low registration numbers.
